The first EP by The Holler Hounds, "There's a War", released June of 2025! This album is focused around the social discourse brought on by Christian Nationalism, Government Corruption, and Fascism. This album focuses on the Dark Country/ Folk Genre

This 7 Track EP features a brand new studio version of the first ever Holler Hounds release, "Cry Revolution" as well as new originals, and a reimagining of the song "I Am the Man, Thomas" that touches on the lack of humanity and the ever growing cruelty of the Christian Nationalist movement. 

This album not only tackles issues important to The Holler Hounds, but also redefined their sound in a blaring announcement, shifting them from a plugged in, Swamp Rock band, to a raw and darker place in the folk and country genre. 

"Witch on the Hill" is a riveting tale performed in an Alternate Folk style, with a twist! After a man hears rumors of a witch living on Mullohan Hill that makes magical moonshine, he decides to sneak onto her land and steal a few jars for himself. He remembers his father's warnings as he makes his journey there, about the witches deadly stare, her wicked shrieks, and her proclivity for tearing men limb from limb. When our protagonist reaches the top, he finds a very different truth to the tale. Check out Spotify to hear it all!
